The Pitches
Once you’ve played on our pitches you won’t want to play anywhere else. It is an artificial surface which plays and feels like grass – no silly bounce and you’re safe from the friction burns you get on other artificial pitches. These pitches are used by top European and Premiership clubs such as Real Madrid and Gôl is pleased to have made them publicly available for the first time in Wales.
Furthermore, our pitches are larger than those at other local 5-a-side venues and we have the only 7-a-side pitch available in Cardiff.
The pitches are designed to replicate the playing characteristics of natural grass in terms of ball bounce, ball roll and comfort underfoot. Players can wear normal moulded stud boots (but please note, no metal screw-in studs, no blades and boots must be clean).
The combination of the soft fibre and rubber infill allows players to slide tackle and fall on the surface without risk of burns or injury.
